Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko visited the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and met its leader, lecturers, and students on April 7.

Joining the welcome meeting, on the side of the VNU University of Law, there was the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh (Rector) and Dr. Mai Van Thang (Head of Research Management and Partnership Cooperation)

At the meeting, VNU President Le Quan informed the Russian Deputy Prime Minister about the VNU's development strategy and plan, as well as achievements in training, research, and other areas over the last few years.

The Russian Deputy Prime Minister expressed his impression of VNU's green campus in Hoa Lac and its development strategy in the coming time. Besides, the Deputy Prime Minister discussed the Russian Government's concerns in developing cooperation in education and training with Vietnam, especially with VNU - Vietnam's leading university.

As part of this working session, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh presented the Deputy Prime Minister with the monograph "Legal basis of business activities of Russia and Vietnam" which was jointly compiled and published in two languages (Vietnamese - Russian) by the VNU University of Law and the Asian Legal Research Center, Faculty of Law, Lomonosov Moscow State University. The book was published at the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2021 and is the result of cooperation between the two most prestigious training and research institutions of the two countries.

"The book is a scientific work of special significance in the context that Russia and Vietnam are promoting a comprehensive strategic partnership and implementing agreements within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union in which Vietnam, Russia, and Russian-speaking countries are members." said the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.
